The Academie Duello Arms & Armour Store goes to great lengths to provide a full selection of weapons, armour and equipment for the modern swordfighter, as well as training manuals, history books, toys and apparel. Here you will find everything the aspiring and practicing modern swordfighter, collector and enthusiast needs to learn, practice and play!
One of the core tenets of Academie Duello is Proper Arms. At it's most basic, it means we use steel swords because the techniques that we're learning were designed to be used with steel swords; your first teacher is the weapon itself.

On our impressive wall of swords you will find everything that the serious WMA practitioner needs: training swords for rapier, longsword and sidesword from a variety of manufacturers, as well as sharp weapons for display and cutting practice. Every weapon that you can use in class is on the wall, and conversely, we offer workshops on every weapon we stock.

Regular training is important to any martial art, and the best way to make sure that you've learned something is to practice with a partner. Full-speed sparring is exhilarating, but it can be dangerous, so it's in everyone's best interest that all combatants be fully protected. Whether you're doing some lighter rapier sparring, which requires only a mask and throat protection, or full-contact longsword sparring, for which you want a full set of gear, we've got what you need. Items are available individually or in sets, in a variety of styles and materials.

Unlike many Eastern Martial Arts, the Western Martial Arts of Europe do not have direct person-to-person lineage from the original masters to modern practitioners, since they were mostly supplanted by both firearms and law-courts. Instead, the Western Martial Arts revival has relied upon the discovery, translation, and interpretation of a number of detailed historical fighting manuals from the breadth of Europe and a span of centuries.
Because of this relationship between fighting technique and the written word, books of all kinds are integral to the study of Western Martial Arts, and in our store you can find an array of materials: History books to provide context to our Martial Arts and the people who developed them, commentaries and training guides by leading scholars and practitioners, as well as translations and facsimiles of the ancient treatises themselves.

Brought in for kids of all ages, we have an array of high-quality, stunningly detailed plastic toy knights and soldiers, ready for battle in a varied array of weapons, armour, and colour. They look great whether in the toybox, on the shelf, or battling it out on top of your monitor at work.
Also available is a fine line of fully-functional model siege engines. Just the right size to work with pretty much any other toys you might have, the catapult, trebuchet and siege tower are all accurate reproductions of actual historical devices designed for destroying castles and armies alike.

Academie duello also sells clothing and accessories. You too can wear your school colours around without worrying about wearing out your class t-shirt, since we have Academie Duello hoodies on the rack. These sleek black shirts were recently proclaimed "The most comfortable sweater ever" by our accounts manager, Katie, and everyone who has tried one on agrees.
In addition to sweaters and t-shirts, we also stock a number of accessories good for transporting equipment around, be it a sturdy sword bag for toting your kit from home to class, or a wide selection of sword-belts and holders that let you add your favourite sword to your costumes and garb. You can find baldrics, watches and watch straps, and various other bits of gear here as well.
