3-Month Marketing Internship at Academie Duello

Academie Duello, Vancouver's exciting centre for European Swordplay and Martial Arts, is looking for a Marketing Intern who is interested to build their skills and experience in marketing writing, social media, and marketing logistics.

This is an ideal opportunity for an excellent written communicator to receive mentorship and build their resume while working at a supportive and innovative workplace.

We are involved in a diverse array of marketing projects including print, social media, and web. We have a strong focus on brand development and polished communications.

This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week with a flexible schedule. We are open to working remotely with someone who is located outside of Vancouver as well.

In this internship position you will have the opportunity to:

• Write for the web and print
• Manage social media campaigns
• Coordinate marketing campaigns
• Collaborate directly with innovative marketers and entrepreneurs

We will provide mentorship in:

• Writing
• Brand development
• Public relations
• Marketing coordination

This is a 3-month volunteer internship with potential for longer term employment. Access to Academie Duello programs is included as well as a per diem to cover travel and meal expenses while you are working with us.

An applicant for this opportunity must:

• Be a solid spoken and written communicator
• Have an aptitude for marketing writing for print and the web
• Be competent with social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook
