Royal Inspiration
One of the beauties of equestrian sports is you can compete for decades past all those over-the-hill athletes in other sports. Canadian Show Jumper Ian Millar is in his late 60s, and there have been dressage riders in their 70s competing in the Olympics. Even better is the fact that once you're a competent rider you can enjoy riding non-competetively all your life. I hope when I'm Her Majesty's age I'll still be in the saddle (and a dapper groom with whom to ride would be a bonus)
