Due to everyone being too mind-meltingly busy this month we have postponed the Mounted Games tournament till September 30th. However, since we have the time set aside this Sunday we will run a
Practice Tournament
Sunday 26th August
1pm - 4pm
Red Colt Equestrian Farm Co-op
cost: $5 (own / leased horse) / $10 (school horse)
Everyone is welcome, including spectators. Proceeds from both the practice and 'for reals' tournament in September will go to the 'Raise the Roof' fund to provide a row of paddock shelters at Red Colt.

On Saturday of the long weekend we will begin construction on the paddock shelters to help keep our beloved equines dry this winter.
If you have a few hours to spare and any amount of muscle-power or carpentry skill to lend we would love your help. The more hands we have, the faster we'll be able to get roofs over our horses' heads!

These will continue to be held on Fridays (including this Friday) from 4 -7pm at Red Colt. Everyone welcome, though I appreciate an email ahead of time to let me know if you're coming.

Intro to Mounted Combat: Sunday 2 September, 10am - 4pm
Mounted Combat Workshop: Sunday 2 September, 1 - 4pm
If you're new to horses or swords, or the combination of the two, come out to the Intro workshop, then join our more seasoned mounted combatants in the afternoon.

The Mounted Games Association of BC will be holding an open competition on the evening of Wednesday September 29th at Panorama Ridge Riding Club. Entry deadline is tomorrow (the 22nd) but if you email fuzzyholly@telus.net you can get an entry form. Spectators are always welcome.
Congratulations
Congrats to the BCLM Pony Club Masters PPG team who took first place at the Prince Philip Games Nationals in Edmonton last weekend. Way to go team -- we all bow to your fabulous skills!
