Fun for the Whole Family with Introduction to Swordplay for Youth and Families

Spring is here and it is not just the bees that have started buzzing.  The city is filled with flowers and blooming trees as we are treated by pink petal cherry blossoms that dance down to the ground covering the sidewalks.  The weather is inspiring parents and children to get out of the house and get their bodies moving after a winter of hibernation.  Come try something new with your family by joining us for our Introduction to Swordplay for Youth and Families.

Over the course of four hours you will learn the fundamentals of European swordplay. You will build a solid foundation in rapier, longsword, and sidesword as you practice posture, movement, attack, defense, and fundamental strategy.

This is a hands-on workshop ideal for beginners aged 8-14 and any parents that want to join in. All the swordplay equipment required to participate is provided.  The workshop will be lead by our head youth instructor, Roland Cooper.
