This coming Saturday, April 18th, we will welcome back Robert Borsos of Borsos Torzs Horse Archery for another day of ever-popular mounted archery.
Beginner Horseback Archery takes place in the morning and is suitable for anyone, even if you've never shot an arrow or sat on a horse in your life. This workshop is a prerequisite for Intermediate workshops and participation in the mounted archery divisions of our playdays and tournaments. The day begins with work on the ground, drilling the techniques of mounted archery. After that you will have an opportunity to shoot from horseback while our handlers lead the horses.
The Intermediate workshop in the afternoon is open to those who have taken the Beginner workshop and have a minimum of Riding Level 1 or the equivalent. There will be opportunites to practise shooting from the ground as well as from horseback at all three paces. You should be comfortable shooting without a handler to lead your horse.
