An excellent series of videos -- Mastering Savate by Professor Salem Assli and Panther Production -- has been uploaded to YouTube from VHS instructional tapes.
Here is part 2 of the series which defines many of the core kicks and concepts:
If you want your kicks to improve, take the time to review these videos:
Volume 1: Conditioning and Stretching
2: Fundamental Techniques
Volume 3: Beginner Offensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques
Volume 4: Intermediate Offensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques
Volume 5: Intermediate Offensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques II
Volume 6: Advanced Offensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques
Volume 7: Advanced Offensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques II
Volume 8: Defensive Kicking and Fighting Techniques
Volume 9: Real Life Situations - For women who ask about keeping balance in heels.
Volume 10: Exclusive Interview
Naturally, I must remind students that sport Savate as taught in these videos is not the same as the self-defense kicks that Bartitsu borrows from Savate. When the video instructs on defenses versus punches and kicks, they are primarily speaking of tactics within the ring in a competitive environment.
