Family Archery Workshop

Sunday, June 19, 2011 10am-2pm

Archery has been a family business since ancient times. From Cyrus the Great of Persia teaching his son and heir Cambyses to 'draw a mighty bow' to Henry the VII teaching a young Henry Tudor how to shoot 'hares and animals of the ground' to Andromache, Princess of Troy gathering the women of Troy to defend its great walls with bows and arrows; archery is a family skill.

In today's day and age we do not need hunting or defending skills, but archery assists in poise, patience and skill. At Academie Duello's Family Archery class you and your child will learn proper stance, draw & release technique together. This is an excellent opportunity to learn a new skill together with your child that can be applied to modern day life.

Your instructor: Patricia Gonsalves, has been shooting for 28 years and teaching for 19. She has worked at many youth, corporate & adult camps including Duello's Knight Camp.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Cost: $50 + HST per person (15% off for members)
